Password Generator

Note: This password generator is a personal project that mostly exists to satisfy my own desire for a password generator that I have direct control over. While I've attempted to make sure that this tool is cryptographically secure, I'm not an expert, so you should be aware that the passwords generated by this page may be biased or otherwise succeptible to attacks.

For the actual meat and potatoes of this tool, I've used the random_compat library developed by Paragon Initiative Enterprises.

Keep in mind that, while I'm willing to trust PIE for this tool, you may want to do your own research into them and random_compat so that you can draw your own conclusions.

Further: You do not know me, and you cannot, yourself, verify the code used on this site. It is very possible that I, or anyone with access to the back end, could save your passwords for our own nefarious purposes. I'm of the opinion that, when it comes to internet security, it's better to be paranoid than to be sorry, which, honestly, is why this tool even exists in the first place: I'd rather have access to a password generator that I control than one controlled by faceless internet entites. I highly recommend that you use a password generation tool developed by a source that you know, trust, and, importantly, can verify.
